Market replay plays back a real US trading day one minute at a time, from the 9:30 AM open to the close, and lets you trade it as it unfolds with a separate $100,000 practice account. Use it to practice the open at night or on a weekend, jump to the part of the day you want, or trade the same day again with a different plan. Every result is kept.
The short version: On Chart, press Replay, pick a stock or fund and one of the last five trading days, then press Start replay. Candles appear one minute at a time while you buy and sell with market, limit and stop orders. Nothing in a replay touches your portfolio or your place in Rankings.

US stocks trade on weekdays, and most people get time to practice in the evening or on a weekend, when stock charts sit still. A replay hands you a real trading day at any hour. It also lets you practice one moment many times: the same open, the same stock, a different entry, until the order ticket feels automatic.
The replay starts at 9:30 AM New York time with the first minute on screen, and the session before is drawn to the left for context. From there you control the clock:
A New York clock shows where you are, and a day the market closed early ends at 1:00 PM. The next candle appears only when the clock reaches it, so you trade without knowing what comes next. On a laptop, Space plays and pauses, the right arrow steps one minute, and the up and down arrows change the speed.
The timeline under the chart, from 9:30 to the close, is a slider. Drag it forward, or press its arrows, and the clock jumps to that minute. Every minute in between is played in order, so a limit or stop you placed earlier fills on the minute that reached it, as it would have live. The timeline never goes back, because a fill cannot be undone. To practice from 11:00 AM, start the replay, pause, and drag the timeline to 11:00. It works the same on a phone, on its own row.
The order box works like the one on Chart: Buy or Sell, a market, limit or stop order, and 1, 5, 10, 25 or MAX shares, with the estimated cost, your buying power and your position shown before you send. Orders fill by the simulator’s own rules:
It is a cash account: whole shares, no short selling and no margin. Every order is a day order and ends at the close. The full rules are on how trading works on JagSim.
When the session closes (or you drag the timeline to the close), the replay shows your closing value, your return in dollars and percent, the number of trades, your win rate with wins and losses, your best and worst trade once you have made two sales, realized and unrealized gain, and your largest drawdown from the session’s high point. Every trade is listed by time, side, order type, shares and price, with each sale’s realized gain or loss. Replay again starts the same stock and day from 9:30 on a fresh $100,000, and Replay another day goes back to the start screen. Exit replay before the close saves the replay at that minute and takes you back to Chart.
The start screen lists your last six replays under History, newest first: the stock, the day, your result in dollars and the number of trades, with Replay again on each one whose day is still stored. A replay you leave part way, with Exit replay or by closing the tab, reloading or going to another page, is saved with its figures at the minute you left. Replays are kept with your account and never appear in Portfolio or Rankings.
A replay is a past day played back. It does not predict anything, and it is not a backtest of a strategy. The prices are that day’s real minute prices, stored once after the close, and a replay is practice on its own: your trade history and your Portfolio never see it.
Pro replays have no limit: any of the five stored days, at every speed. On a free account the Replay button opens with the Pro offer in its place, and paper trading itself stays free with no time limit. JagSim Pro has a one-week free trial with no card; the Plans page shows the price, and Free vs Pro lists every difference between the plans.
No. It is part of JagSim Pro. Paper trading on live prices stays free, with no time limit.
