JagSim is operated by JagInsights LLC. This Privacy Policy explains, in general terms, what information JagSim collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using JagSim, you agree to this policy.
Information you provide. When you create an account, we collect your email address. You may also choose to provide profile details such as a username and avatar, which can be shown publicly on features like the leaderboard.
Information created through play. As you use the Service, we store the data your account generates, such as your simulated trades, positions, portfolio value, and leaderboard activity.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we automatically collect basic, largely anonymized usage and device information (such as general activity on the site, browser type, and an approximate region derived from your IP address) through standard analytics, so we can understand how the Service is used and improve it. We do not collect passwords in readable form, and JagSim does not store your full card number, real brokerage account numbers, or government IDs.
Payment information. If you subscribe to a paid plan (JagSim Pro), our third-party payment processor, Stripe, Inc., collects and processes your payment details to complete the transaction. JagSim itself does not receive or store your full card number; we receive only limited billing information such as your name, email, subscription status, and the last four digits and brand of your card. Stripe's handling of your payment data is governed by Stripe's own privacy policy.
We do not sell your personal information.
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings. We do not use third-party advertising cookies to track you across other websites.
We share information only as needed to run the Service: with a limited number of trusted third-party providers that perform functions such as hosting, data storage, email delivery, and payment processing (Stripe, Inc., for paid subscriptions) on our behalf; when required by law or to protect our rights, our users, or the public; and in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition. These providers may process data only as necessary to operate the Service and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify the associated personal data, except where we are required to retain it.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, download, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain uses. You can delete your account and its associated data at any time by contacting us, and we will respond within a reasonable time. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
JagSim is intended for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
JagSim is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.
California. If you are a California resident, you may request access to the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, request deletion or correction, and know whether we sell or share your personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights, and you may use an authorized agent to make a request.
EU, UK, and other regions. If you are in a region with data-protection laws such as the GDPR or UK GDPR, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. We process personal data to perform our contract with you (operating your account), for our legitimate interests in running and improving the Service, and to meet legal obligations.
How to exercise your rights. Email [email protected] from your account email. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law. If we decline a request, you may ask us to reconsider.
The Service may link to third-party websites or resources that we do not control. This policy does not apply to them, and we encourage you to review their own privacy policies.
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
